As an IPB Tax Quality Control Associate I in Wealth Management team you will be tasked to oversee the quality control review of submitted client tax documentation, and regular review of existing client files to ensure data consistency and processing of any ad hoc review in relation to tax regulatory requirements and reporting. In addition, you will also coordinate with Tax projects and operations in completion of efficiency projects and escalations relating to tax regulatory reporting.

Job responsibilities

• Complete review of client tax documentation and systems input
• Provisioning of guidance, advice, and training to other teams
• Advise the business on a wide range of tax documents issues relevant to account opening and due diligence
• Support the business on prospects development ahead of the account opening stage as well
• Control and reconcile to ensure that information stored in our systems is accurate and in line with client’s documentation
• Monitor the different tax reporting datelines
• Generate metrics and statistics
  

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Understanding of Tax documentation (W8/W9, CRS Forms) or KYC documentation
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills
• Ability to work on several initiatives on the same time and under pressure/tight deadlines
• Effectively manage stakeholders from various areas and locations
• Ability to communicate, present effectively and tailor communication to audience
• Hands-on approach to problems and high level of integrity
• Excellent command of English

• FATCA, US, or CRS Background
• KYC/AML Background
• Wealth Management/Private Banking Background
• Quality Control Background
• Advanced MS access, Excel with macros, Alteryx, Xceptor knowledge is a plus
