Your Impact
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team
- Responsible for Prisma SD-WAN Control-plane & Datapath implementation on HW & SW platforms and related system architecture solutions
- Develop highly scalable & high performance datapath architecture for HW/SW platforms & SD-WAN features
- Handle large/complex projects that might require multiple teams’ collaboration to deliver them
- Champion engineering excellence, establish business metrics and drive continuous operational improvements
- Continuously grow your skillset to induce increased innovation & product initiatives within the team
- Maintain and cultivate high quality in terms of engineering practices, code quality, and work/foster a culture of engineering excellence, and execution agility
- Provide technical guidance and direction to the engineering team members
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, risks, and roadblocks
- Set clear expectations, goals, and performance metrics for team members
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time and with high quality
Your Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience building distributed, resilient, performant and scalable web applications in "C" & related technologies
- 2+ years of experience in managing a team is must
- Strong technical knowledge in computer architecture, Systems engineering, Datapath & Networking protocols space
- Understanding & strong working experience in TCP/IP Networking, Routing, IPSEC, SSL etc protocols
- Working experience in SD-WAN technologies is added plus
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Effective people management, including performance evaluation and career development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven experience in product development and product lifecycle management
- Experience in High Availability
- Experience in DPDK packet processing and performance tuning is desired
- Experience/understanding of Virtualization concepts, such as ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V
- Experience with one or more cloud infrastructure & services is a plus - AWS, GCP, Azure - is added plus
- Can-do attitude and ability to take initiative and drive open issues to completion
