Key job responsibilities
• Interacting at the CxO/VP level, to develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
• Hiring, developing, and managing a high-performing team of sales and GTM experts.
• Working closely with the global Sales, Partner, Product Management and Professional Services teams to identify and prioritize areas of focus and opportunity, as well as drive adoption and market penetration within global markets.
• Working closely with product teams to help them evolve the products and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field.
• Building mechanisms to enable the field organization to drive the day-to-day interactions that identify prospects for long-term business opportunities.
• Incubating new AWS services, scaling existing AWS services, delivering workload/solution specific domain expertise to the broader field organization, and developing repeatable, packaged solutions to solve customer challenges.
• Analyzing and determining key customer insights from business drivers, market trends, customer feedback, and operating metrics.Seattle, WA, USA

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 15+ years of relevant P&L management, sales/sales management & business development in infrastructure or cloud technology.
• Global Experience, proven people management and experience leading large, diverse teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in customer experience technologies, and enterprise application sales.
• Established track record of building rapport with customer executives (e.g., CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO), building close relationships, and closing large revenue accounts.
• Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.
• BA/BS degree required.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing cross-functional solutions- led go-to-market growth initiatives and sales motion.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead a scaled sales organization, and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms; technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
• Recognized industry expertise in primary discipline(s) with proven public speaking and media prowess.
