Description
• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of online platforms and processes.• Collaborate with internal teams to create and prioritize data logging requirements for system advancements or the introduction of new features.• Work closely with external system vendors to troubleshoot data-related challenges, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive data.• Design and conduct experiments to inform decisions on platform or feature rollouts and future iterations.• Develop internal tools for visualization and modeling to bolster data-driven decision-making within the organization.• Present analytical findings and recommendations to business partners and stakeholders.• Provide consultancy on advanced data techniques and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
Key Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in data science with a focus on online platforms, data integration, and analytical problem solving.
  • Robust analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics, data engineering, data modeling, and advanced programming languages such as Python/R and SQL.
  • Proven track record in designing and analyzing A/B tests, supported by a strong understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design.
  • Experience in building and optimizing data logging, pipelines, and architectures is highly preferred.
  • An innate sense of curiosity and the motivation to delve deeply into data, extracting meaningful insights, identifying potential issues, and uncovering opportunities for improvements.
  • Excellent strategic problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address current challenges while also anticipating future obstacles.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and written English, capable of breaking down complex technical concepts into clear, actionable terms for a non-technical audience.
Education & Experience
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Mathematics, or related fields.• At least 2 years of experience applying quantitative skills to solve real world problems and drive business improvements.
