The Infrastructure Intermediate Technology Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for assisting with Reports, OnDemand and CMODz activities. This includes assisting with defining reports, setting up reports and troubleshooting issues related to reports. Also, the analyst will provide technical guidance, and best practices to our clients and stakeholders. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge of reports and OnDemand to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve moderately complex problems/projects through analysis, technical experience, and precedents; provide analysis for more complex issues, escalating as appropriate
- Participate in testing activities, including the creation and execution of basic test scripts and evaluating results for possible enhancements
- Complete control activities (risk, self-assessment, COB, audit, etc.) and makes recommendations for enhancements
- Collect and organize requirements for hardware acquisition and deployment activities
- Gather, compile and synthesize information regarding technology processes or systems; create and prepare reports
- Assist in systems implementation/enhancements and post implementation activities
- Reach solutions through technical experience and precedents
- Exchange ideas and information in a concise and clear manner
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- To act as the 2nd level of contact for advanced incidents and will be the primary client interface for strategic tools support and responsible for tools administration of batch scheduling file transfer configuration and OCM user and report definitions.
- You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary team that supports all Citi lines of businesses for services like User Acceptance Testing Production Job Scheduling Storage and Archival of statements and reports File Transmissions.
- Provide 24/7 follow the sun support for critical production problems on batch scheduling reports and file transfer services.
- Deliver Business and Technology projects requiring Network Data Mover (NDM) Report Archival and retrieval Batch job scheduling application support for UAT and Production environments.
- You will provide service quality metrics by building data collections reporting scripts and create analytics to improve operations. You will create technical support documents and Global Process Control Manuals. This includes local administration of internal SHAREPOINT websites.

- Communicate and carry out compliance to the policies standards procedures to users in handling change requests
- Drive transformation/lean projects that will optimize business operations and improve current process efficiency and effectiveness
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent desired
- 2-5 years of experience in a Technology Infrastructure role (education/professional) with demonstrated knowledge of reports, OnDemand, CMODz, Mainframe and operational process change and improvement
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Familiarity with batch scheduling file transfer and report archival concepts and practices.
- Understanding of SSL and Encryption technologies
- A sound history of building good teamwork with customers and strong customer focus
- Capability to absorb and understand technical information and demonstrates good judgment and “business sense” in choosing alternatives and making final decisions.
- Consistent track record of trouble shooting and problem solving in a pressured environment
- Consistent record of participating in technology projects that requires batch management application services
- Hands on experience with UNIX Shell scripting (sh ksh csh) Perl & CGI HTML is an advantage
- Adequate knowledge of LINUX AIX & Windows O/S and Microsoft Project is a plus
- Strong knowledge of IBM TWSz on mainframe and distributed environments, Connect Direct Content, OnDemand CA View, CA-View and CA-Deliver.
