Collaborate closely with Data Governance by Deign lead to establish Data Governance by Design requirements for new initiatives.
Assess data governance needs for new initiatives or changes to HR applications / processes and execute activities to apply Data Governance by Design.
Implement end to end execution activities for Data Governance byDesign initiatives.
Develop execution plans for initiatives and ensure deliverables are completed on time, identify risks, and provide consistent status reporting.
In partnership with the Data Governance by Design team, execute change management strategy to create awareness for Data Governance by Design.
Build relationships with HR stakeholders and provide inputs for developing status updates to Data Leadership forums.
Work closely with Data Governance by Design lead and the Data Program Enablement team to ensure successful adaptation of Data Governance by Design framework.
Contribute to monitoring activities to measure the success of Data Governance by Design framework and partner on improvement initiatives to enhance process.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in data governance, preferably in the financial services industry
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data risk management principles
Knowledge and understanding of HR Data strongly preferred.
Strong project management / coordination skills
Optimizes work processes by knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, while monitoring tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
Ability to communicate effectively.
Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience required.
