A day in the life
You will work on latest video technology such as automating testing for Ultra High Definition, High Dynamic Range, Dolby Atmos, Low latency live streaming etc. You will solve big picture problems like “How to automate tests that model poor internet connections and how can we automatically detect performance regressions release over release for Video Game Devices?”. You will utilize test automation, continuous integration and agile development methodologies to drive and scale the tests for our player that impact millions of Prime Video Customers with each release.

- Experience in automation testing
- Experience with performance and scalability testing
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Experience in manual testing
- Ability to read and write Typescript and Python
- Able to read and understand code to help triage bugs and improve automation
- Improve player testability by developing interceptors to simulate test scenarios
- Perform triage on failed tests and identify components at fault

- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
