LEAN Mission Statement:
This position will facilitate the implementation of the LEAN Management philosophy at in support of goals and objectives. The Junior LEAN Ambassador will drive own initiatives and provide support to the site leadership team in the deployment of LEAN concepts. The Junior LEAN Ambassador will help to identify improvement opportunities and the resources necessary to accomplish planned improvements. The Junior LEAN Ambassadorwill coach and mentor multiple
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Leading of all LEAN topics
- Reports to the Regional Lean Manager to align on standardized LEAN implementation (dotted line)
- Single point of contact (SPOC) for all LEAN related topics in his/her area of responsibility
- Supporting the implementation of LEAN Management methodology to help the business achieve its goals and objectives. Improvement projects are likely to focus on the cost competitiveness, product availability and lead-time reduction
- Support process owners to optimize processes and to focus on key customer requirements.
- Provide training, coaching and mentoring in LEAN concepts and techniques.
- Employ project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time and meet the objectives in the charter.
- Function as a change agent. Continuously challenge the way things are done. Promote creativity and out of the box thinking.
- Generate weekly reports from LM to drive improvements
- Regularly conduct internal Lean audits to monitor progress.

Experience and Skills:
- Experience in applying LEAN concepts
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Computer skills: MS Office suite
- Fluent in English and local language, third language is a plus
