Description
In this role you will be responsible for developing, debugging and maintaining disaggregated storage and virtual networking software solutions for various cloud platforms. You will - Design, implement, and debug software components - Write and review code,- generate and review design documentation - Participate in qualifications and rollouts of software to production clusters - Benchmark, analyze and improve scale, performance and resiliency issues
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelorʼs Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven record as Software Engineering Manager for at least 5 years of leading a team of Networking engineers.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects under driven time constraints to achieve meaningful results.
  • Ability to mentor and develop your team, lead with software and engineering excellence and maintain a dedication towards meeting the needs.
  • Experience in software development and deployment of networking technologies (SDN, OpenVSwitch)
  • Experience in using and building cloud technologies such as CloudStack, OpenStack, AWS, GCP etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within a team, with project collaborators, and project customers
  • Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD systems.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Enthusiastic about quality, design, and user experience
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400 and $316,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
