As a SeniorYou will work across internal teams to manage RF systems, select key strategic components, and work with a motivated team to develop and deliver the product to the market. You will also use your product development experience to provide leadership and guidance to the RF team and development partners.


Required Qualifications

  • 11+ years technical engineering experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Radio Frequency and/or Antenna Engineering), Physics, or related field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Radio Frequency and/or Antenna Engineering), Physics, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Radio Frequency and/or Antenna Engineering), Physics,
    • OR related field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Radio Frequency and/or Antenna Engineering), Physics, or related field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience
    • OR Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Radio Frequency and/or Antenna Engineering), Physics, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee schematics, PCB layout, and BOMs review to meet the design requirements.
  • Produce EM and system level simulations to create RF lineup analysis and link budget ensuring robust design that achieves end-product certification and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with ME, EE, SW, design verification, manufacturing test, and other design disciplines to optimize the RF sub-system within the product from concept to completion in the factory, including addressing robust system integration to minimize RF desense.
  • Provide support to the factory, regulatory (EMI, EMC) and reliability teams to achieve requirements associated to the RF sub-system.
  • Manage the prototypes and evaluation of new product ideas or technology concepts.
  • Oversee design/debug investigations and support development, maintenance, failure analysis, and resolution activities.
  • Oversee project documentation including specifications, schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, schedules, and presentations to meet requirements and communicate the RF hardware design and its progress.
  • Conduct design validation and characterization test campaign to ensure compliance to internal and industry specifications.
  • Conduct circuit and sub-circuit level optimization including load-pull, matching, and tuning.
