Your day to day

• Design, develop, andimplement robust Java applications for a large-scale Underwriting and Fraud detectionplatform, ensuringit's architected for scale, supports multiple tenants seamlessly, and integrates with various internal Paypal services.
• Advocate for excellence and contribute to a customer-centric approach.
• Own the quality of your deliverables throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define and execute solutions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs.
• Participatein code,design reviewsandbe responsible forall the CI/CD activities.

Technical Skills:

Strong Design and Programming skills inJava, Spring, andHibernate.

• 5-8 years of software design and web application development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, Web Services, Unit Testing, and build tools.

• Strong OOP skills, with ability to analyze requirements and transform into scalable software designs.

• Proficient understanding of SQL and other/NoSQL/modern database and storage technologies. Desired understanding of Oracle, JDBC and ORM frameworks .

• Solid understanding of web-based programming languages.
• Rich object-oriented design and analysis skills.
• Ability to resolve ambiguity in requirements and estimate engineering effort for realistic schedules
• Should be a strong advocate of code craftsmanship, good coding standards and use of tools that will improve the quality of the delivered code.
• BS degree in computer science or related fields; MS preferred.
