As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Job Overview : Power Software Engineer
SW program/code/script development in Qualcomm Platform
Power debug and optimization on Qualcomm wearable Platform
Co-work with internal global Tech teams, PM teams, and CE teams
Co-work with Chipset power team to do power Analysis/Optimization
Descript/Analyze/Solve power issue/problem from HW and SW side
Be responsible of studying and observing frontier technical and research of IoT
Collect logs / RAM Dump and track issue/problem resolved
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years working experience in semiconductor field or embedded software development.
1+ yeas working experience in power optimization on IoT/Android platform.
Above bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Understand ASM/C language and Call stack
C/C++, python, and JAVA programming skills
Understand the basic knowledge of OS Kernel (such as Linux Kernel, embedded RTOS kernel, etc.)
Understand system hardware/software architecture on IoT platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience in ARM based low-level SW development, familiar with ARM architecture
Knowledge/Experience in system debug, such as ftrace/systrace/Linux perf(flame graph).
Experience with wearable platform development on Android or Linux
BSP and device driver background.
PMIC(Power management IC) debugging experience
Understanding of hardware, including ability to read schematic
Experience with linux kernel, just as Linux CPU DCVS governor, CPU idle, loading balance, CPU hotplug
System level issues debugging in RTOS environment with Trace 32
Strong debugging capabilities on wearable/robotics platforms and other embedded system
Good Problem solving & analysis skills, communication skills and ability, and enthusiasm to learn
Good English communication ability, fluent spoken English is preferred
