What you'll do

We are looking for an enthusiastic UX/UI Design Working Student, who will go the extra mile for users to craft intuitive experiences in close collaboration with developers. As part of our Strategic Platform Innovations Team, you will play a crucial role in creating the user experience for a cutting-edge composable process platform prototype. Advised by our senior designers, you will explore various design concepts while sharing your ideas within a multidisciplinary team, both creatively and strategically. You will also have the chance to directly interact with users, stakeholders, and fellow designers to gather meaningful feedback throughout all phases of the design process. Furthermore, you will support the team by creating compelling and simple visualizations for technical presentations.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Interface Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
• Solid understanding of the design process and related methodologies: Design Thinking, User Research, Usability Testing, and Prototyping in all kinds of fidelities
• Passion for translating complex problems into user-friendly solutions by following UX/UI Design principles
• Proficient in at least one design tool, such as Figma
• A great eye for detail, especially when it comes to UI and Visual Design
• Excellent communication skills in English and preferably German: Motivated to articulate and communicate ideas and design decisions well to interdisciplinary project teams
• Soft skills: Reliable, positive, open-minded personality with strong team working skills, who is committed to managing deadlines independently and precisely
• Familiarity with agile software development is a plus
