What You’ll Achieve

As a, you will oversee the charge in building innovative solutions from the ground up, transforming obstacles into opportunities using data science. You will mentor and manage a team of data scientists to deliver scalable AI/ML solutions that impact thousands of users across various domains. Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and results inspired work.


You will:

  • Advance a team of data scientists in the development and deployment of AI/ML services that address key business and customer requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, business stakeholders, and product owners within an Agile framework to integrate AI-focused solutions into software products
  • Own the full lifecycle of model development from prototype to deployment, ensuring the solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs
  • Drive continuous improvement of models and solutions, empowering your team to make key decisions on algorithm trade-offs and design. Manage project roadmaps, task assignments, and stakeholder coordination to optimize team performance and project delivery
  • Encourage exploration and implementation of advanced techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and other large language models (LLMs) to enhance innovation

Essential Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field
  • At least 10 years of applied research experience; additional 5 years specifically in building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications
  • Minimum of 2 years in a management role overseeing data scientists or machine learning engineers
  • Proven ability to guide the team through technical obstacles, making informed decisions regarding algorithmic trade-offs and design
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information clearly and concisely

Desirable Requirements:

  • Past experience as a Tech Manager or Direct Manager, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members and pursue innovative projects. Experience in managing end-to-end AI projects including identification of customer needs, problem formulation, solution development, and deployment
  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art AI techniques, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation and large language models, reflecting current trends and advancements in the field
