Responsibilities:

  • Works with the business representative of approximately 20 subconsultant firms to address invoicing, payments, and budgeting concerns.
  • Works with the Jacobs’ Contract Support staff for the development, submission, and approval of subconsultant work orders.
  • Tracks and reports diversity participation data and compliance on a monthly basis.
  • Tracks and reports monthly overtime hours for approximately 20 subconsultants firms
  • Responsible for timesheet (MARTA and Subconsultant) verification, consolidation and coordination with subconsultants.
  • Assist Senior Project Manager, Business Manager and Resource Coordinator with DocuSign tracking for various documents processed via DocuSign.
  • Acquires supplies as needed to support JV function.
  • The Project Controls Specialist is accountable for timely and accurate input of data, thorough and accurate review and analysis of defined cost and schedule elements, and timely and accurate document production. The duties of a Project Controls Specialist are set out below, but also include any other reasonable activity as directed from time to time.
  • Skillfully input or update critical activity data, including project logic, resource allocations, progress updates, and expenditure details, while performing thorough reviews of activity durations and logical sequences.
  • Execute comprehensive risk analysis on both cost and schedule, providing insightful recommendations for effective contingency usage to mitigate potential setbacks.
  • Vigilantly implement and uphold change management systems and processes, ensuring that all team members follow established protocols.
  • Proactively identify potential project issues at an early stage, promptly report them to operations leadership, and work together with project teams to design and implement robust recovery plans.
  • Prepare detailed spreadsheets and conduct a wide range of routine cost analyses, cash flow evaluations, and other essential cost-related assessments to drive financial accountability.
  • Set up, monitor, and rigorously report on earned value progress measurement systems for projects, incorporating insightful analysis based on feedback from project leads.
  • Produce comprehensive planning and scheduling reports and analyses that provide clarity and direction.
Here's what you'll need
  • BS or BA in Cost Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or Finance. United States Citizenship required. At least 2 years of experience in a project controls or related function.
  • Minimum of five (5) plus years’ experience on PMCM contracts for a project/program working on a client site and interacting with the internal/external customers on all levels of management.
