Key Responsibilities:

This is First Line Risk Officer role supporting the Citi Client business unit in its entirety and will be primarily coordinating and monitoring that the business units are mapped to applicable regulations and verifying that businesses teams have appropriate controls to comply with these regulatory requirements. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing reporting solutions to improve management visibility across the regulations management process.

Regulations mapping:

  • Coordinate and Monitor progress of each stage of regulatory mapping process, challenge adequacy & timeliness of mapping remediation, based on Metrics/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and due dates, through effective use of Citi tools, platforms and systems;
  • Escalate overdue tasks to the relevant senior management in accordance with governance and escalation protocols established by the Regulations Management Program;
  • Support Citi Client business teams in creating remediation plans in instances of regulatory non-compliance;
  • Coordinate engagement between various Citi Client teams and Independent Compliance controls teams as required;
  • Ensure the adequacy of controls, monitoring and reporting over the Regulations Management process.

One-off regulatoryassessments:

  • Coordinate and monitor timely completion of Client involvement in one-time reviews of Laws, Rules and Regulations as requested by the relevant Country and Product Compliance teams.
  • Work with Client organisation to ensure that there are appropriate controls to comply with applicable Laws, Rules and Regulations.

Regulations Management reporting:

  • Produce and communicating periodic or one off reports providing key status updates on the book-of-work across Citi Client senior managers and teams.
  • Spearhead efforts to improve or automate periodic Regulations Management reporting as feasible
  • Produce and report pre-defined metrics for the relevant various Citi Client committees or forums.

:

  • Experience in a business risk & controls, corporate governance, or assurance domains.
  • Should have strong data skills including work experience in Macros, Excel, Advanced Excel, Formulas, Pivots, V-Lookup etc. Basic Tableau knowledge preferable
  • Proven experience producing Presentations/Dashboards for management reporting
  • Ability to operate independently with limited oversight, following a “no surprises” approach.
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically, apply professional judgment and critically access or challenge the ‘status quo’.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and deliver results against agreed deadlines.
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a fast pace, dynamic environment, with people at all levels of seniority and across different geographic locations
