What you will learn and contribute to:

  • Provides solution service delivery, having expertise in IPTel Portfolio {IMS, SBC CFX, NTAS, MRF, NN and other IMS Nodes}; acts as a source of expertise for colleagues.
  • Ensure operational excellence in design and implementation in system integration projects.
  • Able to work and produce targeted results with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure smooth field deployment and system integration.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Contributes to implementation plan and technical infrastructure documents.• Knows principles of the Systems Integration (SI) delivery process.• Contributes to test strategy and test cases.• Understands the basic concepts of requirement management process in terms of capturing, analysing and specifying customer requirements.• Troubleshooting for standard problems.• Contributes to migration procedures.• Contributes knowledge to discussion forums.• Independently works within broad guidelines and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues.• Works with substantial discretion and uses specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex problems and to contribute to process improvements.• Transfers concepts for professional direction of own organisational unit into actionable measures.• Provides working leadership and training to less experienced personnel.• May lead small projects with limited risks and resource requirements.


KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Relevant experience in Project delivery & Deployment covering the following roles in turnkey system integration projects.
  • Installation & Integration of IMS nodes including P/S/I-CSCF, Application Servers, servers specific to applications like Presence server, IM server etc.
  • Configuration & Implementation of the IMS Protocol Interfaces – Gm Interface, ISC interface, Ro/Rf Interface, Sh Interface SIP, SOAP/XML, Diameter etc
  • Installation & Integration of VoIP nodes including Media Gateways, Signaling Gateways and protocols including SIP, MEGACO, MGCP
  • Good Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE Networks and Call flows
  • Solution design & Implementation of IPTel Core Network Elements including SBC, CFX, NTAS, NN, MRF, MSS/MGW etc.
  • Experience of installing IMS Node and related Software on commissioned hardware
  • Experience in Cloud + Virtualization and VNF Deployments
  • Experience in Cloud native + Kubernetes Deployments
  • Good experience in Unix/Linux commands
  • Good experience in Router and Switch configuration
  • Good understanding of VoX solution Call Flows
  • Basic Knowledge of firmware.
  • Basic scripting language expertise (Shell script, PERL, Python, Ansible) would be added advantage.
