Key Responsibilities:
• Execute the creative vision in the Originals apparel product range for the Originals category.
• Execute the creative development of concepts that extend the Originals apparel strategy with a clear focus on China market needs across Womens and Unisex category
• Develop creative design solutions for individual apparel products, including Women’s and Unisex apparel.
• Collaborate with Product Design team to ensure holistic storytelling
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure consumer- and brand-focus
• Work with the creative process and execute towards given targets and defined design languages and strategies.
• Execute design work according to the visual language of adidas as well as given Corporate Identity guidelines according to legal guidance.
• Verbally present apparel product design ideas and details with clarity in small groups and team meetings
• Support an efficient process, finding solutions and communication flow between design team, product marketing team, and development teams for all issues regarding the apparel ranges and products
• Visualize design ideas for products and ranges with clarity.
• Creating concept representation, design assets, product information for an accurate development and decision-making process
• Support the senior designer and designer and create together highly relevant top-class design solutions and ensure the accurate translation of those into tech packs, which include all relevant sketches, artworks, fit, material, color, and trimming information
• Present and communicate creative solutions with clarity, effectively selling ideas to a variety of stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for improvement and change and proactively initiate own proposals/projects

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Abode Creative Illustrator, Photoshop & other design apps
• Knowledge of fashion apparel product and fashion apparel design
• Product knowledge / basic knowledge of art and design with a clear understanding of visual design concepts.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• High level of creativity
• Passion for design
• IT skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint: advanced /Outlook
• Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written); Knowledge of Chinese is an advantage
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Diploma or BA or MA from a college or university, major Design
• Preferably a practical experience in a design environment
• Under-graduate level Design education or a combination thereof
• Solid education and advanced experience in the creative development of communication tools
• At least 2-3 years experience in the Sporting Goods/Fashion Industry or Design on a managerial level
• Design experience in the Outerwear category will be an advantage
• Design experience in both gender Menswear & Womenswear will be an advantage
• Proven experience with the entire design process (project scope and time planning, design steps, production/execution of design solution, pre-press processes)
• Passion for adidas and it’s mission
• Passion for sports, culture, fashion, design
