About the Role
As an Operations Manager for Uber Direct, you will be responsible for ensuring the best operational experience for both customers and couriers. You will drive the execution of our operational excellence framework, impacting the growth of the business and the Direct marketplace. You will challenge the status quo to promote innovation, offering Earners and Merchants a seamless experience. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders primarily on a local level, including commercial and marketplace teams, and points of contact across different operations teams within the Uber Delivery ecosystem.
What You’ll Do:
- One Uber: Act as the key point of contact between the commercial and marketplace teams and other stakeholders. Foster collaboration to develop innovative solutions to operational challenges.
- Go Get It: Lead the execution of strategic operational projects that drive business growth, such as expanding supply types and launching innovative pilots. Focus on providing the best possible operational experience to enable commercial success.
- Build with Heart: Challenge the status quo to drive innovation, ensuring a seamless experience for Earners and Merchants.
- Trip Obsessed: Analyze operations and take action to ensure every trip is performed to the highest standard, whether for groceries, restaurants, or retailers, across all available supply types.
- See the Forest and the Trees: Balance long-term goals with short-term actions that have a significant impact on achieving the vision for Uber Direct in Latin America.
Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles; logistics, last mile, delivery, couriers, operations, sales ops, etc.
- Good English skills
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides
- Intermediate SQL (queries)
- Strong prioritization skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
