What the Candidate Will Do
- Develop, articulate and execute a bold and visionary product strategy and roadmap for Claims Intelligence products
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements (PRDs), prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and drive business objectives
- Collaborate with engineering, data science and design teams to deliver high-quality, well-designed products that meet user needs and exceed business objectives
Basic Qualifications
- Minumum of 3 years experience as a technical Product Manager delivering highly successful ML/Data products at a tech company.
- Computer Science or Engineering degree is required (Master's degree preferred).
- Must have a strong technical background, preferrably with experience managing insurance-related products that involve ML/Data Engineering.
- We don’t expect you to code, but you should feel comfortable discussing deep technical topics with engineering teams and the platform users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with insurance claims process and actuarial concepts.
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and work backward from the needs of your customers to build solutions that scale.
- Data-driven decision-making ability and a "driver" personality for pushing toward clarity and balancing the need for great collaboration.
- High attention to detail and proven track record to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A passion for Uber's mission and technology-driven culture, along with a deep desire to grow and learn!
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year.
