Job summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banking Finance Transformation Specialist to lead our efforts in driving strategic initiatives and transformation projects within the finance function of our banking clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking operations (i.e., Fund management, Product life cycle, Investment Management etc.), regulatory requirements, and financial processes (i.e., Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report), coupled with strong business analytical skillsets around key banking finance ERP/EPM tools (like Axiom, Finacle, Oracle, SAP, Workday, Workiva, etc.), project management, and change management skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of strategic initiatives to transform the finance function within the banking organization.
• Assess current financial processes, systems, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of transformation projects.
• Collaborate with finance, technology, and business teams to define requirements, design solutions, and drive change.
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on banking regulations, accounting standards, chart of account re-design, vendor assessment and industry best practices.
• Conduct impact assessments and risk analyses to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on new processes, systems, and controls.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of transformation initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the banking and finance industry.

To qualify for the role, you must have.

• 12+ years of experience in banking finance, with a focus on transformation, process improvement, or change management.
• Masters-degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements
• Proven track record of leading and executing complex transformation projects within the banking or financial services industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Certification in key finance tools (e.g. Oracle, Axiom, SAP, Workday)
