The Site Director Americasis responsible and accountable forproject strategyThe Site Director Americaswill be a relentless advocate for managingsafe delivery of the project at the quality expectationsSite Director AmericasInformation Technology, Legal, Project Engineering,the corporate vision and goals for the Project.In addition, this position willbe responsible forcoordinating and reviewing contractor/vendor performanceto cash flow and budget summaries and will clarify those reports in presentations to the delivery and executive chain. Other responsibilities include oversight and project controls, Project Expenditure Request (PER). Professional Services Request, Change Orders, Pay Applications, etc.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.

These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will berequiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.


Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 15+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years experience working on data center projects.
  • 15+ yearsof progressive responsibility inleadingData Center,semiconductor, Oil-gas,Bio-Pharmaceutical or other large scale construction projects
  • Degrees and/or professional licenses inEngineering,ConstructionManagement,ContractManagement,Project Management and Leadership
  • Verbal and Written Communication Skills, ability to provide clear direction to a diverse teamand quickly resolve issues gating project progression
  • Experienceleading and drivingmultiple,large multi-faceted projects, including Safety Management, Quality Management, Risk Management,Contract Management,Project Controlsand experience in Fabrication facilities
  • Ability tolead a large teamindependentlyin order tomanage projects predictably in Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule and Risk Management, and positively

Accountability:

  • Responsible for Leadership of Safety, Quality and predictable delivery to meet the business need date and cost expectations.
  • Responsible for leading project delivery across multiple campuses and oversight of project teams on those projects.
  • Direct fiscal responsibility for the approved project budget.
  • Promote collaboration with all partners and stakeholders in support of the project delivery
  • Provide direct oversight of the Construction Managers within the Metro and overall team to ensure that the projects are delivered to expectations

Business Processes:

  • Responsible for Leadership across multiple campuses for Safety, Quality and predictable delivery to meet the business need date and cost expectations.
  • Create andmaintain best practices to identify and incorporate cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage GC(s) and vendor performance along with their integration with internal partners to ensure on time and on budget project delivery.
  • Drive deployment of solutions that can be socialized globally across EPC projects.
  • Facilitate decision-making to drive timely solutions, schedules, and manage change as required.
  • Apply influence, strategies, and negotiation skills to identify options and recommend solutions to meet project delivery expectations.

Communication:

  • Provide the project with a single point of contact for development and delivery.
  • Regularly reviews cost and KPI metrics, invoices, process/policy communications to client partners.
  • Coordinate meetings and activities of vendors, cost managers, and integration of lessons learned.
  • Attend scheduled owner/architect/contractor (OAC) and other project meetings, and report as necessary.
  • Report Project Progress on scope, schedule, and budget weekly or as required.
  • Provide weekly project status reporting to DCD standards.

Vendor Management and contract compliance:

  • Provide Vendor oversight and performance management by walking the construction sites daily.
  • Preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP’s), PER’s, and other project approval tools & templates.
  • Review and approval of vendor scope of work, and design review of site and building plans.
  • Validate vendor pay-application and invoice review and approval.
  • Manage compliance with prior audit results and recommendations.
