We are looking for talented and experienced Applied Scientists to join our expanding teams in Egypt, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects as part of the Microsoft AI Organization.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an applied scientist.
• BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Hand on experience in machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), pretrained language models (PLMs) or large language models (LLMs).
• Data-centric & Analytical Mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good understandingofdata structures.
• Fluency with any programming/scripting language.
• Hands on experience in NLP is a plus
• Understanding of data analytics/visualization tools is a plus.

• Ability to learn quickly, work independently in complex situations, and deal with ambiguity.
• Experience with big data tools is a plus

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Discover and apply insights from massive data sets of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Identify opportunities to leverage available data to resolve customer pain points.
• Owndata science projectsend to endstarting fromproblem definition, data exploration/preparation, model building,andmodelevaluation.
• Prototype and rapidly evaluate creative ideas to gain insightsinto their strengths and weaknesses.
• Storytelling and visualization capabilities to deliver the right message to the concerned audience.
• Design metrics that serve as the North Stars for team efforts and A/B testing framework to support data-driven decisions.
