As a Technical Marketing Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- The role requires the person to be the subject matter expert for one or more products or solutions. The TME will have continued collaboration with R&D, Product Management, Marketing and Sales.
- The TME would work closely with the PM and PMM to provide technical direction and validation on any campaign assets that are in development. Another key function would be providing the PM with competitive assessments based on industry research or hands-on with competitive products.
- The TME is expected to answer technical field questions for Sales via email or collaboration tools and help when requested to present the product via conference calls, within the Executive Briefing center at industry events or on-site. They are responsible for building and maintaining demo systems to help promote the understanding and adoption of the products or technologies under their care.
- The TME would be part of a larger group of Fortinet experts that evangelize their products or solutions through creation of assets such as videos and white papers and delivering/assisting in webinars.
- Must have at least 3-5 years technical industry background in a TME, SE/CSE, Support or QA role.

- Technical expertise in NGFW solutions for Enterprise networks
- Expert and real-world hands-on knowledge in the following network security products such as Firewalls, NOC/SOC, SSE, ZTNA
- Expertise in IPSec VPN and dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
- Knowledge in Switches, Wireless Access Points, and Network Access Control (NAC) is a plus.
- A university degree is preferred, but not mandated. Experience in designing/building real-world customer networks and the will to solve problems can counter any formal education.
