This work will involve understanding overall customer network requirements, working with the systems engineers and developers to review feature requirements, developing the appropriate test plans, executing and analyzing test results to assure that feature and system requirements are met from customer network perspective. As a self-starter, you will have the opportunity to verify NCC functionality including DevOps automated test, call processing, database, system recovery, measurements, and software release update in a fast-paced environment.

• Works typically in several technology areas with intermediate to advanced skill level or with one technology area at an advanced skill level.• Creates implementation plan and technical infrastructure documents.• Knows and works according to the Systems Integration (SI) delivery process.• Creates test strategy and test cases.• Contributes to gathering customer requirements, analysis, feature specification and requirement feasibility study.• Contributes to migration procedures.• Contributes to knowledge documentation in various tools like SharePoint discussion forums.• Works autonomously and effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.• Has in-depth business knowledge and uses understanding of how relevant areas integrate to achieve objectives.• Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.• Shares initial ideas for professional direction of own organizational unit.• Acts as a professional advisor and mentor for staff / work team / taskforces.• May lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements or small teams, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.

Able to design and create Ansible Playbooks for NCC release upgrade:

• experienced with ansible scripts.
• able to read existing ansible code and understand the logic of the code.
• experienced with bash scripts. Able to understand how it works in case there is a problem, or a similar script needs to be created that performs a different function.
• familiar with using a Linux command-line, running bash scripts, editing config files, viewing log files, etc.
• familiar with common git operations: clone, branch, commit, merge, push, etc.
• familiar with Kubernetes instantiation and upgrades. Understanding what is happening during instantiation and upgrade and be able to pick up when something is wrong is essential.
• able to modify/test/deliver the automation to meet the new requirements.

Able to design and create NCC KPI Dashboard:

• familiar with NCC architecture, Grafana dashboard and KPI measurements is a must.
• understand Prometheus core metric types: counter, gauge, histogram and summary is essential.
• Grafana formatting and chart customizations via overrides is required.
• Grafana templating with variables and interpolation is essential.
• Understand specific CHF metrics of interest is a must.
