Job Description:
Persons hired for this position willbe responsiblemethods within broadly defined processes and tools to produce the desired results. Typically handles inquiries of moderate scope and complexity. The position has a direct impact on the direct work group/team, providing direction and advice to co-workers. Performs economic research, prepares forecasts, and analyzes trends. Leads projects as well as initiatives to ensure data integrity and accuracy.and you would be requested to work in both SAP countries and Legacy system countries during transition period. The position will report toTreasury &Accounts Receivableand work as a liaison with countries and primary contact from our internal client on subject matter.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
payments.
Ensure completeness,accuracyand timeliness of transaction postings within 2 days upon receipt of customer paymentdetails:100% application at month-end.
Work closely with local Customer Issue Resolution team and finance team on issue resolution of customer payment details not provided on time (GSC Daily SLA Target at 90%)
Ensure compliance to global financial standards and internal controls specific to AR Process
Ensure the performance meets KPIs and continuously improve productivity and servicequality.
Perform mid-month close process and analysis of AR and Sales Accounts(if needed)
Engage in ad-hoc activities such as internal/external audit, tax audit,or as may be assigned,etc.
Basic Qualifications:
Accounting degree and working experience in Finance and Accounting areaat least1-3years.
Solid financial accounting and internal control knowledge arerequired.CPA is anadvantage.
Experience in Account Receivable ispreferred–1-2years.
Experience in Shared Service Center for multi-national corporation ispreferred.
Englishlanguage isnecessaryfor this role.
Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP
Ability to learn legacy system (AS/400, PeopleSoft,etc)
Flexible for newassignmentsand willingness to learn.
Cross functional and cultural communication skill
Detailed oriented and enjoys working with operationalprocesses.
Highly client service andquality-orientedmindset.
Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning ownworkload.
Team oriented person
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
