Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Project Manager with the delivery of Fire system design and installation projects
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of fire services application and design requirements.
• Assessment of customer sites.
• Preparing submittals aligned with engineering standards.
• Planning / scheduling of project engineering execution including attendance at builder’s design Meetings.
• Lead software development, perform ‘bench testing’ if required and deliver commissioning packages to field technicians.
• Providing technical support to technicians.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Experience with design and construction of complex fire systems.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of Fire system principles and designs.
• 5+ years-experience in Fire industry
• Ability to design, plan and schedule large projects related to fire engineering.
• Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology-based Fire Security projects.
• Understanding of Railway Fire protection – desirable.
• Previous exposure to a site based, construction environment.
• Previous experience working with highly complex electronic security fire management systems solution.
• Strong PC Skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
