Your key responsibilities
- Support client needs in Oracle application development/support using Advanced PL/SQL
- Proactive with Solution oriented mindset, ready to learn new technologies for Client requirements
- Working knowledge of a source code control system
- Interact with senior leaders, understand their business goals, contribute to the delivery of the workstreams
Skills and attributes for success
- SQL Concepts – Group By / Joins/ Surrogate Keys / Constraints/ Datatypes / Indexes
- Experience in designing and developing Oracle objects such as Experience with SQL queries (Scalar subqueries, inline views, outer joins, hints, and analytic functions
- Experience of creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Collections and Exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking and migrating complex datasets in oracle
- Experience in SQL tuning and optimization using explain plan and SQL trace files
- Partitioning, Hints and Indexing strategy for optimal performance
- Experience in Direct Load & Conventional Load using SQL Loader
- Should have good understanding Oracle Database Architecture
- Prior consulting experience preferred
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
- 3 to 8 years of development experience
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Good understanding of advanced PL/SQL and performance tuning
- Should have positive and learning attitude, Good Communication, Strong Analytical skills
