As a Site Lead Manufacturing Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Drives Engineering improvements for the Decatur site as it relates toEnvironmental, Healthand Safety programs and/or initiatives
• Collaborates with downstream partners and customer divisions to improve quality, cost and service, as well as implement new technologies that providestep-change improvementsto the customer experience
• Champions Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for the Site,including developingprocesses that support daily execution to the Site’s OEE expectations
• Develops the Site’s manufacturing engineering resources both technically and developinggreater leadershipacumen
• Acts as Site liaison to new product and material introductions, scale-up and launch
• Identifies and prioritizes capital investment, working with the site leadership team to develop technology roadmaps that align to business objectives

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) thefollowing qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
• Seven (7) years of manufacturing leadership experience in a private,public, governmentor military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution
• Ten (10) years of site leadership experience in a private, public, government ormilitary environment
• Skills include… ability to collaborate with a range of job functions andexperiences throughoutthe organizational hierarchy, written and presentation skills areparamount, operationalstrategy development
