JOB DESCRIPTION

You will have the opportunity to represent Honeywell as a member of key OPC Foundation technical working groups. In this role, you will participate in the ongoing work to maintain and enhance the suite of OPC UA standards in order to further Honeywell goals and to advance the objectives of the wider industrial automation community.

You will provide technical expertise as a program team leader in the identification and development of new products. You will lead proposals to address future business opportunities, value engineering and program/process changes. You will act as a key focal point for driving and implementing goals and objectives for the Migration and Continuation global team.

Drive Engineering Execution with exceptional focus on, Innovation, Built-In Quality, and product cost. Generates significant new concepts evidenced by novel methods, high-quality reports, papers, and/or patents.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8+ years of experience in C, C++, Windows®, Firmware
  • 5+ years of experience in Product development engineering.

WE VALUE

  • Experienced in Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture (OPC UA) , C# and Azure
  • Working knowledge in Virtualization, Performance characterization, and automation.
  • Experience working in an Agile Environment, Multi-tasking, Planning, and working without direct supervision.
  • Proven track record of Innovative mindset, Built-in Quality, excellent execution focus, and responsiveness to customers, team, and management.
  • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
  • The candidate should have good communication skills and have demonstrated this working with a global team of various functions, domain experts & multi-level management teams.
