Your key responsibilities

  • Supporting the Manager/ SM in day-to-day delivery of ESG engagements and associated activities, while ensuring that the engagements are delivered in a manner that complies with internal and regulatory procedures
  • Being responsible for the quality of deliverables produced, including qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Contributing to thought leadership and developing market intelligence to support ESG practice development
  • Proven abilities to establish and sustain sound relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging with new clients and managing client expectations
  • Highly experienced in managing, mentoring and guiding teams

Skills and attributes for success

  • Prior experience of undertaking ESG Gap Assessment and providing logical and impactful recommendations
  • Strong understanding of ESG processes and systems
  • Experience conducting climate risk assessment online with TCFD guidelines
  • Proven experience of undertaking a detailed Peer Review & Benchmarking
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the field of Sustainability
  • Knowledge about Greenhouse Gas Accounting & Inventorization (Scope-1,2,3)
  • Familiar with Science based targets and decarbonization initiatives
  • Highly experienced in data governance – people, process, controls and technology aspects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 3+ years of exp into relevant ESG role
  • Graduate/ Post-Graduate with professional qualifications in ESG/EHS and Safety Management Systems, or related International Standards.
  • Best to have related work experience in ESG/ EHS roles

Ideally you’ll also have

  • Confidence to present information to various stakeholders, lead client workshops and represent the company at industry events
  • The ability to build relationships with a range of people
  • Flexibility to work under pressure, responding to changing legislation and project & program demand
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to enable you to think outside the box
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills for analysing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data, carrying out research, writing reports and making recommendations
