We are seeking skilled Data Managers with a strong background in Azure data engineering and Microsoft Fabric services. In this key role, you'll craft and deploy advanced data solutions on Azure, drawing on your comprehensive understanding of Microsoft's cloud services and data platforms. You'll be responsible for designing efficient data workflows, establishing resilient data storage systems, and building scalable ETL pipelines. Integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into data strategies and solutions will be a distinguishing aspect of your work. Proficiency in Azure's data services and a history of delivering top-notch, sustainable data engineering projects are crucial for success in this role.
Skills and attributes for success

  • 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, including i.e. Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Databases, Databricks
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Social and Governance principles, CSRD, and similar compliance requirements.
  • Skilled in data transformation with Power Query, Python, and PySpark for scalable workflows.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Fabric services within Azure's ecosystem.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL design, and optimizing complex data architectures.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data requirements and implement technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Up-to-date with industry trends in data engineering, cloud services, and ESG.
  • Strategic focus on data quality, security, and governance.
  • Engages with business stakeholders and Data stewards for requirements, feedback, and acceptance testing.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Working experience in Agile environments and follow best practices.
  • Microsoft Data Engineering certifications, such as- DP 600, DP 203.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with software engineering and platform operations teams for smooth integration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
