As a Software Development Engineer (SDE II) within the SAFE-T team, you will delve into a distributed service-oriented architecture, harnessing state-of-the-art technologies like AWS, Native iOS, Android, React JS, and others. Your responsibilities encompass creating and implementing fresh system capabilities capable of scaling across multiple marketplaces. You will maintain a comprehensive perspective on software architecture, guiding you through the entire software development journey, from evaluating product requirements to transforming them into actionable engineering tasks.Primary Responsibilities:Plan, execute, evaluate, deploy, and uphold inventive software solutions that boost service efficiency, resilience, cost-efficiency, and security.Meticulously document your software for the benefit of future developers, ensuring a clear understanding of the features and components you create.Actively engage in defect resolution by identifying root causes and delivering comprehensive solutions.Contribute to the advancement of operational excellence within a rapidly expanding technology stack.Take charge of problem-solving, propose effective solutions, and ensure a seamless handover to the relevant stakeholders.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, innovation initiatives, and potentially contribute to patent filings.Evaluate key performance metrics and actively participate in shaping the evolution of our tech product.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
