As an Amazon Front-End Engineer, you will help tackle a diverse landscape of technical challenges. We are a greenfield initiative, and you will play an active role in translating business requirements into concrete systems and prototyping concepts in partnership with technology leaders within the team and across the business.As a Front-End Engineer on the team, you will be driving the development of front-end applications that deliver a best-in-class user experience. You will partner with product and design to build highly responsive, intuitive, and sleek experiences that will delight customers and set a high bar for all web applications. You know about the nuances, pitfalls, strengths, and associated best practices of the various web application paradigms (single-page apps, MVC apps, static site generators, etc.). You will work with a variety of core languages, technologies, and frameworks including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Vite, Next.js, CloudScape (UI design system), and Panther (localization framework). You believe in agile development and quick prototypes, and you strive to see your work in action. You are committed to building scalable, maintainable architectures, and to writing clean, readable code.Key job responsibilities
As an FEE-II, you will be collaborating with a team of highly talented engineers to help deliver a highly scalable unified management solution for compute devices on AWS. As an individual contributor, you would be raising the bar for technical design and code and work on product features starting with gathering requirements, technical design, coding, and operational support. You would work closely with cross functional TPMs and engineers from other teams to deliver new features to our products.* You are constantly looking to make improvements to existing systems as well as looking for new problems to solve. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
