Packaging Channel Leader

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As aPackaging Channel Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Deliver financial expectations for SD 100034 (Sales Growth, Margin, etc.) and PC 2650 Packaging to Operating Plan
  • Build, grow and manage a world class channel sales and marketing team.
  • Develop and implement the channel strategy for packaging products in the US and Canada.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, including distributors and resellers
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment and drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and execute channel marketing programs and promotions to drive demand and increase market share.
  • Provide training and support to channel partners to ensure they have the knowledge and resources needed to effectively sell our products.
  • Monitor channel performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise within the channel.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Eight (8) years in B2B Sales and marketing rolesin a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • MBA preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience in channel management, preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful channel strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
