Your key responsibilities
As a Manager in Finance Microsoft Dynamics D365 Consultant, you will be focussed on project delivery, supporting clients from through MS Dynamics F&O module implementation. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with clients to identify and creatively solve complex problems, utilizing Dynamics capabilities to help them achieve their objectives.
- Carrying out the managerial role by understanding clients' most pressing challenges and needs, identifying unspoken problems, and proposing solutions to help them reach their goals.
- Deliver expert product demonstrations that showcase the unique value of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and related platforms, tailored to meet client requirements
- Plan, facilitate, and document requirements gathering and discovery workshops to elicit, analyse, and validate business needs from key stakeholders.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of financial processes and best practices to advise and guide clients during pre-implementation consulting engagements, including Requirements Gathering, Fit Gap Assessments, Design, and Configuration.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into capabilities, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Clearly articulate functional requirements in a manner that is easily understood by developers and project teams.
- Identify and analyse risks and issues for the program or project portfolio in collaboration with project managers.
Skills and attributes for success
- MBA or bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Commerce, or equivalent is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in D365 Finance solution or equivalent is necessary.
- Possessing Microsoft Dynamics D365 Functional Certifications, such as Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate, MB-310: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant, MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations, Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect, and Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate, is highly desirable.
- You should have 10-12 years of experience in implementing Microsoft D365 Finance (or equivalent) and be able to enhance and implement Dynamics 365 F&O for clients based on their business requirements throughout the implementation cycle.
- Extensive knowledge of core Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, and Treasury functions, is essential.
- Your track record should demonstrate delivering business value through technology and the ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level.
- Experience in Finance process design and process improvement within the Finance function is required.
- You should have experience managing projects using Waterfall, Agile (Scrum), and hybrid methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders at different levels of the organization, are required.
- Previous experience working with and supporting Microsoft ISV Solutions is preferred.
- Awareness and understanding of ITIL operations is expected.
