- Lead the design, planning and implementation of complex IT infrastructure migration solutions
- Ability to drive and consult in architectural discussions and design exercises to build and automate large scale migrations to cloud- Verify technical feasibility and validate solution options for the requirements
- Identify workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration
- Develop test plan and test-cases to demonstrate application/database readiness post migration- Consult for optimal design of server /database environments and propose recommendations to optimize performance

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a technical position with 4+ years of technical experience in migrating IT infrastructure from On-Prem to any Cloud environment, including landing zones creation and application migration (On-premise to VMC on AWS experience preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in Design, build, upgrade and maintenance of VMware environments (Knowledge on vCenter, HCX, NSX, VLAN, VSAN, VMFS, NFS and VMware tools)
- Experience in automation and Infrastructure as a Code with expertise in tools such as Python, Terraform or Ansible
- Ability to articulate well (written and verbal) and work effectively across internal and external organizations demonstrating high end troubleshooting and communication skills.

- 4+ years of experience managing any Cloud Platform (private or public) or VMware with 2+ years of experience in mentoring and leading a team
- Experience in assessment of source architecture and map it to relevant target architecture in the cloud environment with knowledge on capacity and performance management
- Experience in defining the right migration methodology/tools for the migrations based on technical complexity especially Implementation experience with primary AWS/similar services like - (EC2, ELB, EBS, EFS, S3,VPC, RDS, Route53, etc).
- Practical Linux or Windows-based systems administration skills, with good knowledge on Storage, Security and network tracks with good understanding and experience in dealing with firewall rules, VPC setup, network routing, Identity & Access Management and security implementation
- Knowledge on IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
- Experience in Cloud Formation, Terraform and other automation/scripting and working knowledge on configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible is a plus
