We continue to have ongoing demand to deliver projects and services that requires senior Business Management Analyst capacity that surpasses our current permanent headcount.

As a member of the Information Security Service Delivery team, the Identity and Access Management Business Management Analyst role successfully and efficiently drives business process improvement via the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes. This includes: 1) Manage requirements development through elicitation, analysis, specification, and verification of multiple levels of requirements (business, stakeholder, solution) and support the ongoing management of the requirements. 2) Create viable and consumable specifications including acceptance criteria in preparation for the construction and testing of IT Security solutions. The role focuses on 5 key areas: 1) Directory Services; 2) Multifactor Authentication; 3) Federation; 4) Identity and Credential Management; 5) PKI and Certificate based Services.

Your key responsibilities

Interact with business stakeholders and evaluate and document business models, processes and operations to gather, understand and analyze business requirements. Working with the team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Collaborates with technical teams (e.g., architects) to design and deliver system architecture solutions, configure solutions and set up systems. Also, analyses newly implemented solutions / technology to verify they are meeting business requirements.

  • Strong ability to communicate fluently in English and adapt communications to various audiences, including Executives, Sponsors, Management, overall organization and project teams – includes verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Breakdown barriers of delivery with well thought out challenges and escalations, if necessary
  • Personal accountability to adhere and comply of all required business analyst deliverables and requirements
  • Ability to collaborate across functional teams, cultures and geographies and to build trust virtually
  • Strong working knowledge or experience with Identity and Access Management
  • Track record of customer focus that is based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises
  • Extensive experience writing and reviewing business, user, and non-functional/system level requirements
  • Highly adept at obtaining alignment and approval of business requirements (functional and supplemental) from user community
  • Extensive experience in selecting and executing elicitation techniques such as Interviews, Exploratory Prototypes, Facilitated Workshops, Focus Groups, Observation, User Task Analysis, Documentation Study and Surveys and overall Process Re-engineering
  • Development and deployment of formal business analysis methods and tools to govern and control programs
  • Solid understanding of the following requirements models: Stakeholder Categories, Actor Tables, Glossary, Context Diagram, Data Model, Class Model, Data Dictionary, Event Response Tables, State Diagrams, Business Rules, Decision Tables, Process Maps, Use Cases, and Activity Diagrams
  • Leader in the use of IT methodologies, processes and standards for business analysis

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • 7 years in a large corporate IT environment
  • 5+ years as a business analyst across various IT disciplines; InfoSec a plus, but also, infrastructure deployment, application development, large RFP’s, proofs of concept, etc. 10 to 15 years in a corporate IT environment
  • Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation and infrastructure)
  • Significant work experience IT infrastructure and security projects
  • Flexibility to work outside typical hours, as required of a globally dispersed team
  • Flexibility to travel on a very limited basis

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • CBAP certification
  • Familiarity with the IIBA (BABOK) Practice Standards
  • Familiarity with latest ITIL version
  • Experience in supporting a professional services and/or global IT organization
  • An understanding of Information Security tenets and priorities
  • Work experience in a professional services industry, preferred
