What You'll Be Doing:
Solving difficult problems at the intersection of compilers, programming models, HPC and quantum computing
Contributing to the development of the CUDA Quantum platform and its novel programming paradigms for hybrid quantum-classical computing
Discussing and refining software designs and implementation strategies with peers
Improving processes and infrastructure to accelerate our development
Partnering with architects, product managers, and application teams to enable leading quantum computing science and technology
What We Need To See:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Physics or related engineering field or equivalent experience (Ph.D. or Masters preferred)
8+ years experience working on large-scale software projects, and a proven track record of building performant and robust production software
Solid understanding of open-source ecosystems, compiler toolchains and programming fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to quickly develop expertise in new domains and products, and eagerness to master new challenges
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:
Extensive knowledge about CI, testing and deployment infrastructures, and a passion for improving sophisticated engineering systems
Experience working with LLVM/MLIR
Expertise in parallel computer architectures and distributed systems
Deep understanding of programming languages and knowledge about formal verification methods
A background in quantum computing or quantum physics
