As a Senior Revenue Accountant at Uber’s U.S., West Virginia operations, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of revenue function activities. You will develop and maintain relevant accounting policies, record and monitor revenue transactions, and ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations and company regulations. Reporting to the VP of Revenue, you will be responsible for entering and validating sales transactions, producing and reconciling weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue close processes, and assisting with year-end tax compliance. You will also act as a liaison between the finance and sales teams, providing data for sales management and internal accounting purposes. You should have strong technical skills and a good understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). A minimum of five years of accounting experience with at least two years in a technology environment and an MBA, CPA, or CMA designation will be considered an asset.
