What You'll Do

· Be a key contributor to our platform and the team behind it, co-shaping all technical aspects of software development including our DevOps culture, methodologies, feasibility studies, timely delivery, development principles and practices, and quality assurance

· Work with Tech Leads/Architects and dev/devops engineers to design, build solutions and best practices for managing infrastructure services across Signavio CloudOS using AWS, Kubernetes, CDK, and Terraform

· Take part in the transition to Cross Plane framework and gain expertise on working with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

· Follow and push our strict infrastructure-as-code / GitOps approach on AWS

· Manage and own a wide range of infrastructure and CI/CD services across the board like AWS SES, S3, AWS MQ, GitHub etc. and provide robust solutions based on the requirements from delivery teams.

· Help us build a unified platform on top of AWS and SAP BTP

· Additionally, you will pair with engineers from various delivery teams to support multiple environments and work to improve code infrastructure, continuous testing, and security.

· Help enable other software engineering teams to own their parts of the infrastructure

together with compliance and security engineers you make sure that our SaaS product meets regulatory requirements of modern B2B SaaS solutions, as well as our business requirements

What You'll Bring

· 6 - 12 years of relevant work experience with expert development skills in more than one scripting or programming language such as Go, Typescript, Python or Java.

· Have good experience in Linux, including Bash scripting.

· You have experience setting up and administering AWS Service (VPC, EC2 IAM, Route 53), preferably with IaC tools such as CDK/Typescript, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

· You have experience working with Kubernetes .

· Knowledge about SAP Business Technology Platform will be a plus.

· Willingness to upskill and be hands-on with SAP Business Technology Platform

· Apply software engineering practices like GitOps/ArgoCD, CI/CD, TDD, and GitHub workflow to infrastructure.

· You understand concepts of High Availability, Scalability, Security, and Disaster Recovery,

· Familiar with monitoring and logging such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack

· You should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with developers, operations, and other stakeholders.

· You have a strong desire to change manual processes into automation.

· Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, share knowledge, joy for coaching, mentoring, giving feedback and enabling talent to reach their full potential

Above all, you will be a strong team player and understand that we can only succeed as a distributed team. You will dislike manual changes to infrastructure and will fight for simplicity, always ensuring that untested changes do not make their way into production.
