Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field required
2-3 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in CAD Software such as SolidWorks.
Excellent documentation skills and 2D drawings.
Experience in process design/development and fixture design for manufacturability
Experience in process validation, process FMEA, and project management
Experience with lean manufacturing principles
Strong root cause analysis skills
Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities
Solid knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis
Preferred qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field
Work experience in the medical device industry will be an asset, especially injection molding, designing and manufacturing of Steerable Sheaths, Catheters, Dilators and/or related other medical device manufacturing.
SolidWorks Certifications (CSWP)
Experience with geometrical dimensioning & tolerancing, tolerance stack-up analysis, creating and interpreting engineering drawings.
