The scope of the role includes:
• Ensuring the project meets the contract requirements for quality and complies with Jacobs’ Business Management System and is consistently applied across a Global design team from multiple regions, Performance and Operating Units.
• Liaison with the Client representatives, sub-consultants and Contractors to ensure quality of products/supplies/services.
• Participate in and monitor actions arising from (not limited to): Operational Project Reviews, Design Reviews, Client Surveys and Design control and design change control.
• Manage the PMC audit process and respective corrective and preventive actions that arise from the audit process.
• Analyze reported data into information to assist in preventing nonconformities, taking corrective actions and compilation of lessons learned into documented requirements that can be passed on to future projects to ensure continuous improvement.
• Onboard and train staff and facilitate Project Quality Training as required.
• Facilitate best practice, value enhancing practice and partnering, promoting continual improvement, capturing project achievements, and Lessons Learned.
• Promote and support our Value+ proposition within projects to enhance the capture of Economic, Environmental and Societal efficiencies and added value.
• Produce weekly and monthly QA reports for review by the project Executive Leadership team.
• Display management and leadership qualities.
• 10-15 years experience, with 5 years directly related to a Quality Assurance role.
• Has demonstrated quality management skills typically acquired by successfully delivering quality at a project or program level in a design environment.
• Experience of professional quality management through business and projects.
• Utilize problem solving skills, (including lateral and analytical thinking) with result-oriented focus.
• Knowledge and experience applying ISO 9001 and ISO 10005.
• Have a detailed knowledge in interpreting and applying Specifications and Standards.
• Have a detailed knowledge and experience in developing PQPs.
