Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Synthesize needs of senior leaders and McGriff teammates across the firm to support the strategic priorities of the organization.
2. Effectively communicate internally and externally with business stakeholders to ensure timeline and output meet expectations and needs.
3. Prepare financial management and sales information.
4. Initiate and support corporate projects.
5. Design enhancements to management reports to identify statistical trends in data.
6. Contribute to the development and enhancement of business intelligence platforms used by operating unit.
7. Reconcile ledgers and reports.
8. Compile and submit timely and accurate reports related to financial performance, projections or strategy. These may include revenue projections, variance analyses and explanations, as well as charts and graphs of data to highlight key results. Ensure that source data is reliable and complete, and maintain documentation to support data integrity.
9. Serve as subject matter expert and respond to inquiries regarding data and business analysis.

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
2. Five years of experience in data, analytics, reporting or similar roles
3. Highly effective written / verbal communication and facilitation skills5. Demonstrated problem solving and solution development skills
6. Ability to manage routine projects with appropriate guidance and supervision
7. Strong multi-tasking, prioritization and organizational skills
8. Expert skills in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
