Microsoft Teams is a new application in the Office365family. We believe the modern workspace is underserved by the existing software solutions and we are building Microsoft Teams, the new, truly modern collaboration and productivity hub for the workspace. Microsoft Teams is also a platform for ISVs to build on and extend their applications into the 100M+ Office 365 user base. This is a v1 product and will provide you with an opportunity to work with teams and technologies across the company and beyond. . We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Leader to build the product for the next 100M users. This is an opportunity to lead a fast-paced, high-impact foundational project withcutting edgetechnology. The ideal candidate has strong product design and development skills. You will be a key member of the team: driving critical design initiatives, taking part in strategic and tactical decisions, being accountable for shipping a complete product that succeeds with our customers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Webpack etc.
• Experience with web fundamentals, application performance analysis and improvement.
• Experience in designing scalable solutions.
• Experience in cloud solutions like Azure or AWS.
• Experience in building creative solutions for live site monitoring.
• DevOps Experience supporting production systems.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
