What You’ll Do:

You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day activities related to Indiacompliant and efficient. With that, you will have following roles & responsibilities:

  • Provide vital support in Indirect tax compliance, specifically related to India including Implementingand standardizing tax compliance processes
  • Prepare and file the India GST returns for multiple registrations of various Cisco entities
  • Analyze & interpret data and prepare reconciliation reports
  • Assist in Indirect tax audits for Cisco India entities, including liaison with service providers
  • Support IT enhancement projects and automation/digitalization related initiatives
  • Work with internal tax/finance/accounting colleagues on end-to-end processes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tax / Law, Finance or Accounting
  • Good working knowledge of Indirect tax laws and regulations in India. Minimum 3years’ experience in handling Indirect tax compliance at a multinational environment
  • Ability to handle the monthly compliance activities timely with adequate supervisionand guidance
  • Possess substantial working knowledge of SAP/Oracle ERP systems and able toindependently analyse & work on the reports generated from these systems
  • Keen desire to understand the various technical processes and to identify & driveimprovement opportunities.
