Description:

The Sales Executive is a customer success focused leader with 3 primary responsibilities: account management, pipeline development, and sales strategy execution.

  • Account Management : Develop a customer focused strategy and key relationships that will drive the Siemens Advanta message throughout the verticals within each assigned utility customer. Willing to operate as the lead point of contact for all matters for each assigned utility customer.
  • Pipeline development: Create and maintain a viable pipeline developed from customer interactions. This pipeline will be used for business planning and must be accurate and always updated.
  • Sales strategy development & execution: Develop and implement detailed strategies to bring leads through the sales development process to qualified opportunities, contract negotiation, and finally to close. Willing to learn, through organized training, different sales strategies and utilize these skills to implement a methodology that successfully drives opportunities.

Y:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience and existing relationships in Power Utilities Industry Sales in the US Northeast region
  • Willingness to travel as often as necessary to achieve project uptake – up to 50 -70%
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
  • 5 years of experience in selling Cloud, SaaS, and professional services sales

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable in the Power Utility market space and trends.
  • Knowledgeable in Power Utility Transmission and Distribution planning, engineering, and operations business.
  • Experience and appreciation for digital transformation strategies, cloud and SaaS technologies, and their applicability in Power Utilities
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with global product teams across multiple geographic locations and time zones.
  • Exceptional communication skills at all organizational levels, including written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Data-oriented, sharp, passionate, and forward thinking.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, with an innate ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders and own decision making.
  • Driven and solution oriented, striving to make a difference in the business and create a better customer experience for our people.
  • Understanding of how to engage with not only IOU’s, but also larger municipalities and cooperative utilities

You’ll benefit from:

  • The pay range for this position is $88,300 - $151,400 and the annual incentive target will be 30% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
