Description
This role demands a highly technical leader with a strong command of technical concepts and skills. You’ll be working in a team of computer vision and machine learning researchers and engineers to implement world class algorithms that pushes the state of the art. Your job responsibilities will include:
Key Qualifications
  • 2+ years leading teams that design and deliver advanced ML projects (3D CV algorithms and generative models)
  • 5+ years of industry experience in CVML and an advanced degree (Ph.D./M.Sc.) in CVML or similar field
  • A strong track record of shipping products and publications / patents
  • Strong experience in 3D Computer Vision algorithms
  • Experience with Multi-modal LLMs, Multi-modal contrastive learning, Foundation models, Diffusion based models
  • Experience in machine learning, preferably in 3D computer vision applications
  • Solid foundation in 3D geometry and linear algebra
  • Solid in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Good experience in Python and science libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib
  • Experience in C++ is a plus
  • Experience in 3D graphics and rendering is a plus
  • Sensor fusion experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Education & Experience
MS or PhD in computer vision, machine learning, computer science, computer engineering or related fields
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400 and $316,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
