Required/Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, and/or anomaly detection
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience in Computer security industry experience with knowledge of threat hunting, incident response and security operations.
- 2+ years experience in analyzing security incidents and malware at scale with systems like Az Data Lake, Az Synapse, SQL, Kusto etc.
- 1+ years experience applying Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies to improve protection features and automate researcher workflows
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber-security, and/or anomaly detection
- OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience in coding in C# / Python
- Experience in conducting research data studies, including ability to work with big data to drive improvements with engineering teams.
- Experience with Azure Data Factories, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps pipelines, Jupyter notebooks.
- Experience with security operation, automation and response (SOAR) technologies that span investigation and response automation across diverse security tool integration.
