Description
Each day will be different. This position is responsible for providing EHS support, which includes:
• Performing EHS inspections and assessments in a variety of workplace settings Coordinating chemical inventories, emergency evacuation drills, new equipment and chemical reviews• Providing guidance and training to employees • Conducting incident investigations and developing corrective action plans • Making recommendations for improvements to EHS procedures and programs• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement EHS initiatives and improvements• Organizing and facilitating project and EHS committee meetings• Writing and reviewing risk assessments and procedures• Contributing to the regional EHS team in EMEA in regular meetings and activities
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant Environment, Health and Safety subject
- Fluency in Hebrew and English
- Safety officer or safety trustee qualification
- Experience in laboratory safety, environmental management and risk assessment in an R&E environment
- Proficient in writing reports and presentations
- Proficiency in national and local EHS legislation

- Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

- Making sense of complex, high quantity information to solve problems
- Self-motivated and self managing
- Experience in working with global teams, good understanding of cultural differences
- Finance experience, budget management and purchasing processes
